NEW Tour the Trafford area of Manchester

Tourist Tracks has launched a brand new tour of the Trafford area of Manchester, one of the UK's leading sporting and industrial cities.

Old Trafford, Trafford Park and The Quays trail, produced in association with Trafford Metropolitan Borough, is a must for fans of sport, industrial heritage and the arts. The trail passes by the home of Manchester United and Lancashire County Cricket Club, as well as crossing the Bridgwater Canal and the Manchester Ship Canal. Tour highlights also include the Lowry Centre, the Imperial War Museum North, the famous Swing Bridge and the Kellogg's building.

The walk will take around 90 minutes, and starts close to a station on the city's Metro transport network, by Lancashire County Cricket Ground.
