







Edinburgh and Glasgow tours launched!

Tourist Tracks has launched a new pair of audio-guided walking tours of Scotland’s major cities, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Each tour, which costs just £5, contains a set of MP3 files, which you can copy to your iPod or MP3 player, together with a map for each walk in PDF format. You can also buy both tours together for just £8.
Edinburgh: This tour starts and finishes outside the Tourist Information Centre on Princes Street. The two-hour route passes by some of the most significant historical and cultural highlights of the both the city’s New and Old Towns, including: Princes Street; St Andrew’s Square; George Street; Charlotte Square; Princes Street Gardens; Grassmarket; Edinburgh Castle; The Royal Mile; St Giles’ Cathedral; Parliament Hall; John Knox House; Canongate Kirk; Holyrood House; Holyrood Palace; and Calton Hill.
Glasgow: This tour starts and finishes outside the Tourist Information Centre on George Square. The two-hour route passes by some of the major cultural, historical and architectural highlights of central Glasgow, including: George Square; City Chambers; Gallery of Modern Art; Merchant City; Glasgow Savings Bank; Italian quarter; Ramshorn Kirk/Theatre; Tollbooth Steeple; Provand’s Lordship; St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art; Glasgow Cathedral; Necropolis; University of Strathclyde; Glasgow Royal Concert Hall; Willow Tearooms; Glasgow School of Art; Blythswood Square; and Nelson Mandela Place.
